Why it worked
This video works because it leverages the 'expectation vs. reality' or 'how it started vs. how it's going' trope, which is highly relatable and often humorous or impressive. The dramatic transformation from a simple sketch to a polished render creates a satisfying visual reveal, appealing to artists and general audiences who appreciate creative skill and digital art processes. The clear contrast makes it easily digestible and shareable.
