What should a UGC creator actually cost?
Paste any Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or X handle. Get the numbers a rate stands on — real median views and engagement — not a follower-inflated rate card.
Priced from what people actually watch
Follower count is the most gamed number in creator marketing. We start from the metrics that are hard to fake.
Not the one viral outlier — the median of recent posts. What a typical video from this creator actually reaches.
Likes, comments, saves and shares over real views. Whether the audience cares, not just how big it is.
A US-based creator prices very differently from a low-CPM region for the same views. We read the creator's own stated location — audience-country breakdowns are a different dataset we do not claim to have.
UGC deliverable rates by tier
A UGC deliverable is content you license for your own channels and ads — priced as a flat production fee. The bands below are an industry ballpark, not our measurement — we hold no dataset of real UGC contracts. Use them to sanity-check an ask, then divide your budget by the creator's measured median views for the number that is actually about them.
| Tier | Who | Per video (US) |
|---|---|---|
| Entry | Nano creators, building a portfolio, lighter engagement. | $117–$195 |
| Mid | Consistent output, solid engagement, some brand work. | $234–$390 |
| Pro | Proven UGC creators, strong engagement, repeat brand deals. | $439–$731 |
Audience country changes the price
A creator with the same views is worth more with a high-CPM audience. Relative to a US audience (1.0×), here is roughly how a mid-tier UGC rate scales:
Mid-tier base ($240) × geo multiplier. Sponsored-post rates use real median views × a $15 base CPM, adjusted for engagement and geo.

UGC pricing questions, answered
How much should a UGC creator charge per video?+
Public rate cards cluster between $80 and $600 per video, but those are asking prices, not measured deals — we do not have a dataset of real UGC contracts, so we will not invent a number for a specific creator. What we do give you is the denominator: the creator's own median views over their last 180 days, their engagement, and how often they beat their own norm. Divide your budget by their median and you get a real cost per thousand views — for that creator, not for a tier.
Why shouldn't I pay based on follower count?+
Follower count is the most inflated and most gamed number in creator marketing. A creator can have 500K followers but 8K real views per post — you'd be paying for an audience that never sees the content. Honest pricing starts from median views (what people actually watch) and engagement (whether they care), which are far harder to fake.
How does the calculator estimate a price?+
We pull the creator's recent posts and take the medians — views, likes, comments, saves, shares — plus a real engagement rate and the dates they beat their own norm. You enter your budget on their profile and we divide it by their median views to show your cost per thousand views. One honest caveat we print alongside it: across our base, posts with a disclosed ad run about 0.68x the author's own norm, so a sponsored post reaches less than an organic one.
Is a UGC rate the same as a sponsored post rate?+
No. A UGC deliverable is content you license to run on your own channels/ads — priced as a flat production fee, and the industry bands on this page are the ballpark for it. A sponsored post is the creator posting to their own audience, so it is priced from their real reach: open their profile, enter your budget, and we divide it by their measured median views. Different purchase, different math.
Does audience country change the price?+
Yes — a US or UK audience carries a premium (higher purchasing power and ad CPMs) while lower-CPM regions price lower for the same views. Be careful what we are claiming here: the geo multipliers in the table are an industry ballpark applied to the CREATOR's own stated location, which we read from their profile. Verified audience-country breakdowns are a separate dataset we do not have and do not pretend to.
Is the calculator free?+
Yes — paste a handle and get their measured numbers instantly, no login: median views, engagement, top posts and when they last beat their own norm. Signing up adds the full database, shortlists and contacts.
