Why it worked
The video works due to its satisfying ASMR elements, the novelty of a 'honey keyboard,' and the DIY aspect. The visual appeal of the translucent, amber-colored squishy material combined with the sound of pressing the keys creates a highly engaging and shareable experience. The 'fail' of using expired syrup and then making 'fake honey' adds a relatable and humorous touch, increasing viewer investment.
