Art Instagram video that did 2× its author's usual

One of the biggest commission pieces I’ve worked on so far. ♥️ Looking back, I think creating the larger paintings for our wedding and painting the bike gave me the confidence to take on something of this scale, and I’m so glad I did. It took longer than I imagined, but it was one of the most rewarding commissions I’ve ever worked on. I loved every step of the process and had so much fun bringing this piece to life. It’s now on its way to its new home in Kerala, and I can’t wait for it to become a part of a new space and a new story ✨ . . . . . . #acrylicpainting #paintingprocess #artforsale #artist #the_tinted_palette

Why it worked

The video works by showcasing a skilled creative process from start to finish. The time-lapse format is inherently engaging, allowing viewers to see a complex task completed quickly. The subject matter (a luxury car) appeals to a specific audience, and the satisfying progression of the painting holds attention. The trending audio adds to its discoverability and emotional resonance.
