Why it worked
The video works due to its unexpected and absurd humor. The initial act of putting a sheep in the car is unusual, and the subsequent attempt to trade the sheep for gasoline creates a comical and relatable situation of being stranded and desperate. The exaggerated reaction of the gas vendor adds to the comedic effect, making it highly shareable and memorable.
