Finance Instagram video that did 2× its author's usual
If I had £100/month to invest, this is exactly what I would do. This is assuming I have an emergency fund and no high interest debt (over 5%) £50 would go into VWRP. This is an ETF that tracks 3,700 large and mid size companies across the world. It is an accumulating version, so any dividends received will be automatically reinvested. £50 would go into EQQQ. This is an ETF that tracks the top 100 non financial companies (mostly tech but includes others). Note that many if not all of the companies tracked in EQQQ are already in VWRP, so this is giving a heavier emphasis to those companies. I have positive outlook on tech companies, and have emphasized them this way intentionally. At 8% average annual return, the £100 a month from 25 to 65 would turn into over £348K even though I only contributed a total of £48K. For educational purposes only. Not financial advice.
