Why it worked
The video works because it captures a genuine, joyful, and slightly chaotic moment of celebration among friends. The unexpected sparklers and the playful 'prank' of pretending to cut the cake add an element of surprise and humor. The boys' energy and the traditional birthday song create a relatable and heartwarming scene. The picture-in-picture of the smiling man adds a unique, slightly mysterious, and amusing element, making viewers wonder about his connection to the event.
