✴️Claude doesn’t count messages. It counts tokens. Some conversations eat through your limit 10x faster than others. Here’s what to do about it. 1️⃣ Edit your prompt, don’t send a follow-up When Claude misses the mark, click edit on your original message and regenerate. The old response gets replaced instead of added to the conversation history. Claude re-reads the entire thread every single time you send a message, over 10 rounds, this one habit cuts token use by 80-90%. 2️⃣ Start a fresh chat every 15-20 messages Your first message costs around 200 tokens. By message 30, that same simple question costs 50,000+. When a chat gets long, ask Claude to summarise where you’re up to, open a new chat, paste it in and carry on. 3️⃣ Batch your questions Three separate messages means three separate context loads. One message with three questions means one. List your questions as bullets and ask Claude to answer them together, the answers are usually better too because Claude sees the full picture. 4️⃣ Upload recurring files to Projects If you’re sending the same PDF, brief or document across multiple chats, Claude is re-counting those tokens every single time. Projects cache your files so they don’t cost tokens on each conversation. Upload once, stop paying every time. 5️⃣ Set up Memory and User Preferences Every conversation you start without context burns 3-5 messages just re-explaining who you are and how you work. Go to Settings, then Memory and User Preferences, and store it once. Claude carries it into every chat automatically. ✅Save thisssss and share it with a fellow Claude lover! ✴️Comment ‘Claude’ and I’ll send over my Ultimate Claude Toolkit for free #claude #learnai

Why it worked
The video uses a relatable 'point of view' scenario that resonates with users of AI tools, particularly those who encounter usage limits. The initial frustration, combined with the promise of a solution, creates a strong curiosity gap. The use of a trending audio adds to its shareability and discoverability.
